Dial by Name

Advanced intuitive controls help you rapidly configure and maintain your dial by name database. Additions, deletions and modifications are a snap with this powerful yet simple interface. The system can prompt the caller for first or last name. Simply select the desired prompt message and click modify to set your phone system. Adding new entries is as easy as setting the name of the extension, selecting if the box number should be announced, choosing a mailbox number to associate with the name, and then clicking add. If you have already entered names in Weblink for mailboxes you can automatically generate the dial by name list with a press of this button! In seconds you'll be able to start using dial by name, no matter if you have five mailboxes or a hundred! It would be tedious to manually rotate the name 'Bob Dobbs' to 'Dobbs Bob' should you wish to prompt the caller for last names. Click this button and watch the name swap for you! If a voice recording of the mailbox user's name hasn't been recorded, this indicator will go red. Once the recording has been made the indicator turns green. Use the select all features to select all entries for deletion, or to mark all mailboxes to have the mailbox number announced. You can also use this feature to deselect all by clicking on it a second time. You can change the sorting order to sort the dial by name entries by name or by mailbox number. You can invert the sort by clicking on the desired sort link a second time!
